Patti Jobst and Dave
Graybill wowed Charlottesville area dancers with
their 3 afternoon workshops and DJing at our
packed April dance! Thank you to everyone who
helped to make the workshops and dance so
successful! We look forward to having Patti and
Dave return in the future!

"Weekend with Jason Barnes"! Jason
and his lovely wife, Amy, return to

workshops and attend our catered

This Month ~
Easterns Dance Event
 Charlottesville
area dancers are gearing up for Easterns
Dance Challenge, held at the Hilton
Washington Dulles from Friday, May 8th ~ Sunday,
May 10th. Event promoter Barry Durand promises
another fun-filled weekend with competition,
performances, workshops and of course, social
dancing until the wee hours of the morning. If
you've never been to an event, consider
attending Easterns with the rest of the
Charlottesville gang!

Swap ~ FREE Weekly Practice!
Thursdays, 7:30 -
9:00 pm @ Murray High Gym thru May;
Summer Location ~ The Dance Oasis!!
Through the end of May,
Swing Swap will
continue to be held in the Murray High
School Gym, from 7:30 - 9 pm (Open House
style - come anytime). Then, starting
June 4th, Swing Swap moves to its summer
location at
The Dance Oasis!
Can you say "air conditioning" and "nice
wood floor"?! We wish to extend a big
"thank you" to the County of Albemarle
for allowing us to use the Murray High
School gym during the school year; also
to Al and Alyssa Lundgren and Lisa
Harbin of The Dance Oasis for hosting
Swing Swap, free of charge, this summer.
